Victoria Bromberger - Soprano

Victoria Bromberger is a young Soprano hailing from Sydney, Australia. A student of bel canto star Jessica Pratt, Victoria is passionate about performing a wide range of operatic repertoire and continuing bel canto traditions and techniques.

About

Victoria Bromberger was born in Miami, Florida and holds dual American and Australian citizenship. Moving to Australia at a young age, Victoria found her love of opera at the age of 5 (through a not-so-child-friendly production of Tosca). She completed an AMusA (Australian Music Examinations Board: AMEB) in Classical Voice before undertaking a Bachelor of Music Performance (Classical Voice) and Postgraduate Diploma of Opera Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music from 2014 to 2019. In March of 2020, Victoria moved to Leipzig to begin her operatic career - however amidst the global pandemic, she was forced to return to Australia. During these tumultuous events, Victoria became a student of leading bel canto Soprano and technician Jessica Pratt, with whom she has studied for 3 years.

Victoria regularly performs as a Soprano soloist with the Judgement of Paris Baroque Ensemble, and has worked at Emanuel Synagogue for over 9 years as a leading soloist of the Emanuel Ensemble. She has over 15 years of dance experience (ballroom, classical ballet, jazz, tap, hiphop and house), and in her spare time is an avid costumer, embroiderer and cross stitcher.

Previous operatic roles include Zerlina (Don Giovanni - Sydney Conservatorium of Music), Susanna (Le Nozze di Figaro - independant opera production), Oberto (Alcina - Ensemble OrQuesta), Le Fils (Les mamelles de Tirésias - Sydney Conservatorium of Music), Sandman (Hänsel und Gretel - Sydney Conservatorium of Music) and First Spirit (Die Zauberflöte - Sydney Conservatorium of Music).
